Teach me your way, O lord;
I will walk in your truth;
Unite my heart to fear your name.
I will praise you, O Lord my God,
With ALL my heart,
And I will glorify your name forevermore.
Psalm 86:11-12

//Teach me your way, O lord;

Unite my heart to fear your name.
I will praise you, O Lord my God,
With ALL my heart,
And I will glorify your name forevermore.
Psalm 86:11-12
For years I have prayed some pretty bold things and still continue to do so to this day. Prayers that sound like this; “GOD- shake me, bend me, shape me, mould me, break me just use me for your glory, whatever it looks like, I’m yours. Change my life today, may I never be the same.” Two Octobers ago I had an encounter with God that answered many of the prayers for the more of him in my heart during a worship service at church. Gods manifest presence came upon me to the point where I was shaking uncontrollably. I like to call this manifestation of mine the “rap video” lol because it looks like I could be a back up dancer for a famous rapper. My whole body was moving in ways I never thought possible and I could not control it, let alone try to even stop it. God was visibly touching me in that moment; he was doing something deep me in! I was so whacked by God that I missed plans to go to a movie with a guy I liked A LOT but this encounter was more than worth it! I want to further set the stage on what I want to address but before I do so here is my actual journal entry from that night, in it’s real and raw form;
Life’s all about moments of impact and how they change our lives forever.
Men if you are reading this than please know that you have what it takes in life. Women if you are reading this than please know that you are absolutely beautiful.
What a beautiful thing, God, to give thanks, to sing an anthem to you, the High God!
To announce your love each daybreak and sing your faithful presence all through the night.
Psalm 91:1-2 the message
Why merely fit in when you were born to stand out?
